Vilamoura is a luxurious purpose built resort with an extensive Marina and houses many designer shops and trendy bars as well as a huge variety of restaurants.  The Marina is a 15 minute walk from The Old Village and is also accessible by using the tourist train which runs on a regular basis all year round.

There are two beautiful beaches in Vilamoura - Falesia Beach to the west and Marina Beach to the East - both are easily accessible and are ideal for sunbathing - The prestigious marina offers a huge selection of watersports including parasailing, shark fishing and a great selection of cruises.

Vilamoura Marina has been extensively re-vamped in the last year and the bars on the marina front now offer luxurious comfortable soft seating areas where you can enjoy a drink or food while watching the world go by.  The marina is also home to Luis Figo's Bar (Bar Sete) located on the marina front. 

Vilamoura Casino with a fantastic programme of international shows and vibrant gaming rooms is also nearby.
